Australian Organic BARLEYGRASS is made using 100% organic young leaf barleygrass from the mineral-rich, certified organic soil on the banks of the mighty Murray River in Northern Victoria. This organic young leaf barleygrass delivers a broader spectrum of organic nutrients to alkalise and cleanse the body.
The clean, pollution free environment where the organic farms grow Australian Organic BARLEYGRASS are certified by the leading Australian organic certification body The National Association for Sustainable Agriculture Australia (NASAA).
Australian Organic barleygrass is dried using special Low Temperature Drying Technology, then milled with an advanced Fine-Pin Milling System to produce a smaller particle size to preserve potency and increase nutrient bioavailability – NO ‘flash-air drying’ at high temperatures is used in the production of Australian Organic barleygrass.
The shoots of young Barleygrass are able to pull nutrients from the soil very effectively and contain most of the nutrients required for human life. These include calcium, potassium, iron, copper, manganese, zinc etc. as well as important plant pigments such as beta carotene and chlorophyll.
Also present are natural B vitamins and considerable amounts of wholefood protein. These nutrients, in their natural wholefood form, are far better assimilated than their synthetic analogues.
