🇦🇺 DOMESTIC SHIPPING (Australia)
Courier Service
We use Australia Post and Aramex as our trusted couriers. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout using our couriers’ live rate calculator, based on your delivery address and order weight.
All shipments are booked as authority to leave and will be left in a safe place if no one is home to accept delivery. However, if the delivery driver determines there is nowhere safe to leave your package, it will be taken to the post office or local collection point for collection.
Free Shipping
Free standard shipping is available on orders over $149 for metro areas (as defined by Australia Post) on parcels up to 20kg. Orders exceeding 20kg or outside metro zones will incur standard shipping rates based on weight and destination.

Orders under $149, over 20kg, or outside metro areas will have shipping calculated at checkout.
Dispatch & Delivery Times
Dispatch: Orders are typically dispatched within 2-7 business days.
Standard Delivery (est. delivery time after dispatch):
- Metro: 1–2 business days
- Regional: 2–7 business days
- Rural/Remote: 3–10 business days
Express Delivery (est. delivery time after dispatch):
- Metro/Regional: 1–2 business days
- Rural/Remote: 3–4 business days
Please note: Dispatch times are in addition to shipping times. Selecting Express does not expedite dispatch.
Bread & Short Shelf-Life Items
Bread and other short shelf-life items are available for domestic delivery at the customer’s own risk. We recommend choosing Express Post to help ensure freshness. Due to the nature of these products, refunds will not be issued for spoilage such as mould if delays occur in transit.
🌍 INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We ship worldwide to most countries via Australia Post International (Standard & Express).
Please note that we do not ship to the United States due to tariffs, taxes & duties.

🕒 Customs Delays
Once your parcel arrives in the destination country, it may be subject to customs inspection. This can cause delays of several days or even weeks.
Organics on a Budget holds no responsibility for delays caused by customs clearance, and we cannot expedite or influence this process.

We are proud to offer international shipping on a wide range of shelf-stable products. However, please review the following before ordering internationally:
Customs, Duties & Import Regulations
- Customers are responsible for ensuring that products ordered comply with the import laws and customs regulations of their country.
- Orders are shipped Delivered Duties Unpaid (DDU) — any applicable customs fees, duties, or taxes must be paid by the recipient.
- Failure to pay import charges may result in the parcel being returned, destroyed, or abandoned. We are not liable for such outcomes, and no refunds will be issued.
Prohibited or Restricted Items
Some products (e.g., those containing animal-based ingredients, herbal supplements, or superfoods) may be restricted or prohibited in certain countries.
If you're unsure, please check with your local customs office before ordering.
Returns & Undeliverable Items
- If your parcel is returned due to customs rejection or non-collection, we will offer a refund minus the original shipping cost once the item is returned to us in resalable condition.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
⚠️ Product Exclusions & Limitations
Perishable Items
We do not ship perishable items internationally. This includes, but is not limited to, fresh, chilled, or short-shelf-life products (e.g., bread).
These items will be removed from your order and refunded if included.
Heat-Sensitive Items
We do not offer refrigerated shipping. Products prone to melting or heat damage (e.g., chocolate) are shipped at your own risk.
Fragile Items
Fragile items such as biscuits may experience minor breakage during transit despite careful packing. Partial refunds may be offered at our discretion where items remain safe and usable.
Incorrect Addresses
Orders shipped to incorrect addresses due to customer error are non-refundable and cannot be re-sent.
Uncollected Parcels
Unclaimed parcels returned to us will incur a $11.55 return fee per item and will be processed as store credit back to your account. If you wish to have your parcel re-delivered to you, contact our customer service team and we will arrange re-delivery for an additional delivery cost.
📦 Transit Cover Policy
Transit Cover is automatically included on all orders for added peace of mind.
What’s Covered:
Damaged Goods (Courier-Related Damage Only):
Report within 24 hours of delivery with clear photo evidence of the item and outer packaging.
Lost Parcels:
Contact us if your parcel hasn’t arrived within:
- 7 business days (domestic)
- 14 business days (international)
Claims must be lodged within 30 business days from dispatch.
What’s Not Covered:
Transit Cover does not apply to:
- Bread and short shelf-life products affected by transit time
- Melted or heat-affected products (e.g., chocolate or temperature-sensitive goods)
- Fragile or delicate items such as biscuits where minor breakage occurs but products remain safe to consume
- Delays caused by customs, import holds, duties, or government actions
- Incorrect addresses provided at checkout
- Parcels marked as delivered by the courier where proof of delivery is supplied
Important Notes
- Cover is limited to the value of the goods and original shipping cost.
- One claim is permitted per parcel.
- Replacement or refund will be issued once the courier investigation is completed and the claim is approved.
- Authority to Leave deliveries are covered for confirmed non-delivery, however proof of loss may be required.
